Our typical production runs start at about 5,000 pieces or so, but there are exceptions. Keep in mind that we manufacture using custom-built, permanent tooling which must be purchased up front. In most cases, small volumes do not justify the cost of this tooling which could run from several thousand dollars to upwards of fifty thousand or more, depending on the complexity of the part and precision required.

Larson is a medium-to-high volume stamper of automotive and industrial hardware, and deep drawn shells and cylinders. We work primarily with material gages that are found in those types of applications. Although we can work in heavier materials under certain conditions, our equipment is geared to process materials from. 015” (.38mm) to .180” (4.6mm), and that is where we operate most efficiently.
